First, install the geotextile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusgarden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/geotextilia-reteg-01-1024x497.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8210\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the geotextile at the beginning of the anchoring trench so that the front edge of the sheet aligns with the start of the trench, then begin unrolling it according to the opening directions we\u2019ve marked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusgarden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/geotextilia-kitekerese-01-1024x497.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8212\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you reach the point where the basin bottom meets the basin side with the geotextile, stop pulling\u2014don\u2019t fold it up onto the anchoring trench yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusgarden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/geo-huzas-01-1024x359.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8214\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fold back enough of the material onto itself to cover the section marked \u201cx m.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then grab the edge of the material (at the fold line) and pull it back to the point where the basin bottom meets the side wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusgarden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/geo-felhajtas-01-01-1024x359.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8215\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, unfold the previously folded section onto the anchoring trench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusgarden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/xm-behuzasa-01-1024x359.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8216\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That completes the first step.
